Through The Ages (…)
JFM is best known for her brand of custom leather jackets and shoes that have sold on Etsy and at many concerts and trunk shows such as Artist’s & Fleas in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2018. During this time, she also sold her collection of custom jackets and accessories with vintage band tee-shirts and hoodies on ASOS Marketplace. Before she established her namesake brand in NYC, she designed formal wear and Ready-to-Wear collections that were showcased at New York Fashion Week and Austin Fashion Week from 2013-2016. She received an education in fashion design and sewing by spending her teen years working back-of-house at many fashion shows as a runner and managing the Atelier of bridal wear designer Esè Azènabor in Dallas, Texas. She also studied the art of croquis, pattern drafting, sewing, and fashion illustration at Austin School of Fashion Design. After years of studying in Texas, she received a certificate in Fashion Industry Essentials (from Business Management to PR/Marketing) at Parsons New School of Design in NYC.
